College life

College management was very helpful and guided us whenever we needed them. Helpful and caring nature was there.

Course was related to medical science with emphasis on practical exposure as well. Exams were held on half yearly basis with regular tests being held. Course was specifically designed for medical students preparing students for competitive exams although no specific placement drive was there

In our time placement drives were not held although trends have changed and now placement drives are held on regular intervals wherein students are also groomed for giving training for answering queries generally raised by the interviewers.

Generally science events are being held in regular intervals. Students are also being taken for outdoor activities related to their studies like being taken to crc kasauli, fri Institute dehradoon etc. Also care was taken sometimes to call lecturors specializing in their subjects to give us adequate knowledge

Fees were slightly on higher side but as compared to some other colleges it was still reasonable. Mode of payment was generally through cash and cheques were also accepted. No extra fees were required to secure admission. Yes, complete transparency was there in fees breakdown

College offered scholarship for deserving students for which one has to fill the relevant forms and taken approval from professors and fulfilling the required criteria

We had coed environment where in we mix generally with both gender. People from all background and races were there from all religion and different races and states and no discrimination was there. People from different economic background were also there with no discrimination with them

No I did not opt for hostel facility since I was a localite hence did not require any hostel facility. Generally hostel rooms were adequately spaced and around 200 rooms hostel was thereI did not have much idea about the hostel life since I did not opt for it.

Seniors were very helpful. No ragging at all. They used to provide us with study materials and would often guide us whenever required

Merit wise candidates are called and then interview is taken. Excellent faculty is there and college is known particularly for commerce and science. I opted for science course because of my aptitude and inclination towards scienceProfessors also looked into our interest towards science.

Lecturors were suitably qualified as we had 1 professor for each specialization. For zoology for eg we had 1 professor who has done her PHD and so on. Every lecturor has done his or her PHD in their subjects, hence suitably qualified. For labs we had seperate qualified lecturers
