Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty old and not relevant. It's not modern technology oriented and it will not help you in making you a better professional. The exam structure is based on MAKAUT board and it's also old. No current technology are there in the syllabus. They won't even update the syllabus.

Placement Experience

1.5

No internships are given from the college. You have to do it on your own. College placements are pretty bad. No big companies or MNCs are brought. Only small private firm companies are brought. BTech students are allowed to sit for marketing companies as well as technical companies. You are not allowed to sit for placement after you've got a job offer.

College Events

4

College fest, technical fest. These events are held every year and big name person's are brought. Last year the cricketer was brought and the year before that a singer was brought who had a big name. He was Yo Yo Honey Singh. But mind you seniors will pull your leg to get the money for the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is pretty feasible as any student can pay the fees even if they come from a lower income family. The college offers a fee breakdown chart and transparency to any parents. There are no additional fees to be paid but you have to pay for the College Fest every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are not given from the college but education loans are available but I don't know the exact details as I have not opted for it.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is 3:1, campus life is really good. Extra curricular activities like football, cricket and other sports are given top priority. College is really diverse. There is no discrimination irrespective of caste, creed or sex. Everyone is treated equally but of course you have to respect the faculties as they hold the key to your marks.

Alumni/Alumna

The head of department of Computer Science and Engineering is really good and will help other students if they need any kind of support but other HODs are egoistic and will not help you. Senior students will not talk to you you if you say you are from there college as they want to forget the college.

Admission

Gave WBJEE entrance exam. After 15 days got shortlisted for this college. Admission and other formalities were done in a month. I opted for this course as I wanted to become an engineer and more specifically a software engineer. But of course I am a failure as everything was against me and I have no purpose in life. My life is all about one step forward and Two steps backward. But I overcame this as I had one dream for becoming a software engineer it kept me going.

Faculty

2

The faculties rule this college. If you are able to to get in the good books of these faculties then you will get good marks. There is no fair and justifiable evaluation of the exams you give and the marks you get as these faculties will give you the marks if you respect them. Your exams doesn't have any value. So from 1st year try buttering these faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
