Remarks

Availability of required course, helpful staff and decent infrastructure with loads of greenery. Good co-scholastic exposure through fests, events and Ted Talks. As it's in south campus, you actually get to enjoy the college life. Metro station is less than 15 mins walking distance, and so is Satya Niketan the hub for cafes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was well updated, the teachers gave us the necessary readings as well as extra readings we can refer to in case of interest or queries. The teachers were available to guide through assignments, projects and provided notes.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college creates various opportunities for us throughout the course tenure for internships and jobs. Internship fairs are also conducted every year for the students to get the exposure to the industry. Almost 50-55% of the students get placed.

College Events

The Annual cultural fest ?Rhapsody? 2020 with Darshan Raval has been a hell of experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year in Maitreyi. The college offers very high placements too along with numerous internship opportunities for students.

Campus Life

The campus is very spacious with a number of gardens. You will fall in love with the campus it's so pretty. The classes have been renovated with new comfortable desk. The canteen food is up to the mark at very affordable prices with numerous options.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

I chose this college because it was an all-girls college. I wanted to go to Miranda, but the cutoff there was too high, and I couldn't make it. The admission process was simple. I have applied to aryabhatta College before Maitreyi College for Women. So comparison to this college Maitreyi colleges stands out on various aspects:- Before 2024 the admission process is entirely dependent on merit list and the cutoffs. But from 2024 the admission process changed and now Cuet Exam is mandatory. A valid score of cuet and 12 th class is required.
