Remarks

I chose this college because it was good and teachers are also good and studies is also good there is more studies in this college along with the events and extra calculate it is also so I chose this college because I want to be the overall performer.

course curriculum is good and teachers also help the students to get motivated and they always provide the notes to the students and digital notes are also there. Acadamics is one of the highest point of this college

placement are good and student get the chance to get placed in a good company with a good package aluminium also offer the jobs to the students in their restaurants companies or whatever they are doing if they find the student is a much dedicated to their work there is a different cell for the placements and they arrange the seminars and events for the students to get placed

Extra curricular activities like dance comedy cricket,are there in the college event was also very much big and many participants participate outsider is also allowed in the college in technical and cultural events are different and their conference is also in the college for the technical students

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

The Vibrant Life at St. Xavier's Mumbai

I applied to IIM Indore, St. Xavier's mumbai, TAPMI Manipal and I had given CET exam to apply for colleges in Mumbai. I did not clear the IPMAT exam as I prepared only for 2 months, so I didn't make it to iim indore. St. Xavier's being one of the top colleges in India was my next choice. I also got into TAPMI Manipal but I chose Xavier's over it as the ROI was better. For admission in Xavier's you've to clear the Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) for BMS, BMM and BSC-IT. Post which you'll get a call if your name is in the merit list. Rest of the process is done in the college itself, where you'll be asked to submit your documents and fill out some forms. Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
