Student's Review On Janki Devi Memorial College - [JDMC], New Delhi

The English department faculty of my college is amazing and the fact that it has an easily accessible metro station and it takes less time for me to reach home. Despite of being offcampus it does provide a lot of good facilities.

The overall faculty of the college is very cooperative and inclusive. My English Hons. department faculty is hardworking and amazing. We are always updated upon any changes in the curriculum if any. Industrial exposure is given from time to time through the placement cell and several seminars conducted throughout the year.

The Placement Cell brings in various opportunities for students belonging to any course. There are always placement drives held to offer opportunities to students throughout the year. Many company offers from a small start-up to MNCs like McKenzie and Google offer job placements to students.

Sponsorship led events from companies keeps happening throughout the year. Various societies of the college also conduct their events in both the semesters of the year. The most active societies of the college is the dance society producing exceptional performances in every fest and competition. The college also has various interesting clubs and societies to be a part of. Enactus JDMC and Ethiad - the MUN society are the new societies established after the college turned 60 years.

The first thing that catches our eye are the lush green gardens, the sight of them is a breath of fresh air alone. The infrastructure is well equipped with huge computer labs, easy wifi and sports room equipped with every sports equipment necessary. The size of the library is huge as it covers a large portion of a single building alone with a collection of over 1,00,000 books. The girls hostel is situated inside the campus and is well maintained.
