International Maritime University Entrance Test which is conducted by the university in desired campus or college.

Course Curriculum Overview

40 Subjects which are Marine specific and 1st year course similar to other engineering fields. Most subjects talk about marine industry and engineering equipment used for it.

Internships Opportunities

Internship at MSC Ship Management Ltd. Stipend USD 600. All practical knowledge of the machines and tools to be used onboard.It is fun to learn all the things if you develop keen interest.

College Events

International Maritime Day, Intra college Sports , Inter college Fest. Overall They believe in all round development of the candidate which is very important to sustain in maritime industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is definitely a little more than regular engineering , so is the rewarding salaries offered in merchant navy. At my time i paid a total of INR 8,40,000 as complete fees including all costs.This fees was on 85% loan.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available through all nationalised banks and some private banks too. I took loan through Punjab National Bank which is a very good bank.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such network offered by the college but some of the important staff of the college have created facebook pages and groups to keep that spark alive amongst the alums of the college though.

Exam Structure

Internal exams were smooth but external exams required through studies!All things are of great interest though.

Faculty

Great Maritime professionals and Engineers to teach. Most faculty used to be visiting faculty as they used to go back to sailing and came back with fresher experiences.

Affordable college with good placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester students are elligible for Campus placements. The Median package is around 4.5 LPA. Some good companies giving students package of around 10 LPA also visit our college whereas some mass recuriter companies like also visit our college are TCS, Infosys, wipro and cognizant. Here, In this College Placement percentage is good and around 80-90% student get placed.

from seventh semester student s becomes available for placements thre are lots of sales company and some tech companaies also that visited in out college there are lots of offers made throught these companies highest package offered was 1.21 crore and average salalry is 4 lakh 60 to 70 percent if students are getting placements through this placement season my future plan is to gather some money through job an srtart my own bussiness.

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
