if I talk about the physics department it has many facilities such as Advanced ICT enhanced Class-Rooms, Well equipped Seminar Hall, Virtual Class Room, Library Facility, Laboratory Facilities, PG Laboratory for all experiments under Dibrugarh University Syllabus. Research Laboratory, Material Science Laboratory, Thin Film Laboratory, Campus wi-fi connectivity, and this is good about the college, this very reputed and good college.

the course curriculum involves the study of mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. examination includes 20% marks for internal assessment and 80% marks for end semester exams.

we do not have placements and job opportunities. we have to apply for it on or own. i have applied for internship on my own in vacation just to gain some experience and knowledge . this is a negative point about the college.

per semester fee is thirty thousand INR you have to pay admission fee at the time of admission only it is RS 5,000. total fees is RS 1,25,000 for two years. the fee structure is expensive for a two year course but this is technical field so it involves practicals so in my opinion it is reasonable.

our department conducts many activities workshops and seminars. One day Workshop cum Exhibition on ?Space on wheels was held last year in September. the college organizes college week every year which includes events of games, sports, athletics, and yoga.

you must have B.Sc. Major in Physics securing at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point from recognized university this is minimum eligibility criteria for this course. the admission is given on the basis of graduation marks they can have entrance tests depend upon the guidelines issued by Dibrugarh University.

The department of physics have highly devoted and diligent group of educationist.The faculty members in our college actively engaged in research work in the field of material science, nano-science and thin film device fabrication. teachers are also actively associated with organizing workshops and seminars for students.
