Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in B.sc includes training and the course is divided into the semester system to learn more and in an easy manner. The college conducts internal exams and practicals which helps in assessing the students in a proper manner.

The placements are associated with shipping companies where college provides opportunities to every student to secure a good job opportunity with great salary packages also which can shape their career in better way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee charges are expensive for the B.sc in nautical science course and it costs around 7.46 lakh for three years. The students can pay the fees on semester basis which ease the burden from students about fees.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. Teachers are very nice, hostel and food is awesome. Hostel is compulsory for everyone. There is a exam taken by IMU(INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY), You have score a good rank to get this college. The college is a merchant navy. Prior to admission, the shipping company selects almost all students in the DNS course.
