Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a little vast here. Examples covered in the class are very research oriented. The course curriculum is very useful as it gives you both the basics and things currently happening in the industry.

Placement Experience

The university provides on-campus recruitment. Many big firms visit the campus. The college also trains the students for selection process through placement training and also students are encouraged to do a skill development program.

College Events

All students should do a compulsory industrial internship and hence there is industry exposure. There are seminars conducted by scholars and researchers in the industry. The college also celebrates many cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for two years program is ?3.55 Lakhs, so per semester fees will be ?177500. The fees are neither too high nor too low. The college provides good amount of exposure to all the students and placement is also good.

Campus Life

The classrooms are quite spacious and most of them are air-conditioned and have projectors. The labs are well-equipped and cater to all the subjects taught in the college. The sports facilities are excellent and sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, lawn tennis, etc. can be played.

Admission

The university selects students based on the marks in qualifying exam. The students also need to be medically fit as per the standards set by Merchant Shipping Medical Examination Rules and have a good eyesight of 6/6.

Faculty

All the faculty members are very experienced and are studied from very good colleges. They are very helpful and caring. And they have great knowledge of their field. So researching with them is very helpful as they help very much in your research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
