Course Curriculum Overview

Course educational plan is given by the ICAR and followed by the college. It is significant and lab work an and field work is done simultaneously.various kinds of involvement with the type of examination station visits and industry visits. The instructors encounters help the understudies to turn out to be better experts.

Placement Experience

Understudies get entry level positions in extraordinary businesses all over Jammu and in embellishing states, which intensifies the incredible execution in our personality.Placement isn't give straightforwardly by the school however endeavors are made by the school with the goal that understudies can plan for a wide range of serious tests. Temporary positions are given in the different mnc in the most recent year of graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expense structure is basic and. Practical as it is a govt school. New enrollment are done in August where charge alongside mess expense and lodging charge. 16000 to 17000 is yearly expense for agriculture for government seat and 1,20000 to 1,50000 for self financed and nri understudies

Campus Life

Every year the inter-college fest is organised known as Agrifest (kairos) and a sports meet. Apart from that, various teams of our university, such as a sports team, cultural team, etc., are sent to national events every year on government expenditure.

Admission

I got in careful AIEEA UG test otherwise called ICAR UG test structures for which are out in Feb or walk and test is led in may. Also, as indicated by your rank you are permitted to rank all the agri universities as indicated by your need and afterward as per your imprints the school is given to you. Horticulture is evergreen and has numerous open doors after graduation.

Faculty

Teachers here are the best all over India because of government university. Though in Jammu, we have faculty members from different parts of India, which gives a great exposure to the students. All professors are PhD or post-doctorates as their minimum qualification, and they are well-knowledgeable. Teaching quality is great with a little practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture is practical oriented course that's why i chose it and it takes me to my roots as my father is also farmer. Practical knowledge of this course prepares me for real world. Course curriculum must be practical along with book knowledge and teaching should be interactive. In 6 month semester we give two times exam and exams are easy.

Golden days of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is actually preparing us how to become profitable in all the situations like during adverse weather conditions ,insect pest and diseases infestation,how to cope up with all the situations that can leads to decrease our yield.i personally choose this course to know the things that are happening in our daily life like knowing the reason of increase or decrease of income in agricultural fields ,use of pesticides, insecticides ,their quantity and specificity so that become less toxic to consume. The exams are quite easy but due to presence of alot of subjects no holiday is available during exams except Saturday and sunday

agriculture University with high potential for a great future

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course was the very best chance i had to get in a government college which ahd the best chance to get a decent job as this sector had good carrer opportunities curriculum was a little outdated as it gave a lot of insight on real word application theoretically but lacked practical application more practical and lab work could help curriculum and encouraging the faculty to teach with more interest the exams happen twice every semester also practical exam takes place as well the level of difficulty of exam was decent, didn't require much studying to pass and could easily score good grade if u are regular in class and study the night before exams

I applied to skuast - jammu. i cleared their entrance test and there i got rank 79 n i was getting subject of my chice so i selected this college I didnt got rejected from other college, i have cleared 3 entrance exam i,e skuast-jammu, SHAUTS- Allahabad, NAUNI - Uttrakhand but i was getting subject of my chice in jammu only, so i joined jammu One has to apply in university website, to fill the form when admission starts, after form filling which include all the edicational details,address, permanent address etc, after that u will receive admit card of exam date, one has to visit university to give exam after that when result comes one has to visit university for the counselling anf all furthder procedures...Read More
