Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is approved by the senate of the IIT and covers science, humanities, engineering and professional categories. Instructions are imparted and regular assignments and tuotrials. Completion of Project Work and life skills can be done during the first year.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are good after completion of the course. The IIT is in process of development and everything is new. You can get hired by the multinational companies and can have a bright career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is a bit on higher side. The structure is like Rs. 1 lac per semester. SBI and other banks provide loan to the students without interest till completion of the course. Hence, payment of fees would not be a problem.

Campus Life

You can find students from all states of the country. The classrooms are wonderful with projectors. The central library opens at 8 a.m. and is open till midnight. The laboratories has all the facilities.

Admission

After passing 10+2 with PCM with 89% I had appeared for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and got a valid score and I was called for counselling based on that I was allotted IIT Palakkad which is an upcoming campus of IIT.

IIT Palakkad has well qualified professors to impart training and they take interest in development of engineering skills in the students. Projects and assignments are given by them regularly to the students.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
