The placement cell is too good and it also has a scope of betterment. The college management doesn't have any bad remarks.

CET 173/200, Vjti is the best college for engineering in Mumbai you can get by giving CET. I chose computer science engineering as I liked it and it had better job opportunities than any other course.

Majority of the curriculum in computer engineering is based on the software related stuff of the computer. There are some hardware related courses also.

For computer science and IT department, most of the people get a summer internship after the completion of the third year and their average stipend would be around 30,000 rupees per month.Companies that came were Google, Microsoft - around 40,000, Samsung - 35,000, Barclays - 60,000, Morgan Stanley - 30,000, Citi Corporation - 35,000, Bank of America.

Placements and job opportunities are very good. Companies which came for placement are:All those companies which came for inernship. Microsoft- 18L, Samsung - 16L, Sap labs - around 8L, Oracle- around 6-7L, Citi Corp - 11L, Bank of America - 11L, Barclays - 8L, Rakuten - 24L, IBJ - 20L etc.

Technovana - technological festival - It is the largest technomanagement event of Maharashtra Foot count of around 25,000, during the 3 day event Pratibimb - 3 day cultural festival Foot count of around 15,000.Enthuzia - Sports festival, A month long festival with many sports events.

As it is a government college the fee is less compared to other colleges. Annual fee for general category- around 50,000 to 55,000 rupees. Annual fee for OBC category- around 20,000-25,000 rupees. Annual fee for SC/ST category- around 8,000 rupees.

Tata scholarship is one which i is available to the top 5 ranked students in each department. Then there is also a jain scholarship provided to capable jain students.

Gender ratio is 3:1 boys to girlsHostel parties are twice or thrice in a sem. A lot of workshops are conducted regarding curricular and extracurricular activities. There are two cultural societies.There is no such intolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, Swedish orientation, politics or economic status.

Hostel rooms are not that good. The students share a room. Hostel seats are few but are sufficient. It is provided to only those students who come from outside Mumbai.I don't know about the hostel fee structure.

The alumni between is very strong out here. The college seniors are also very helpful. Django framework I had to learn for my project. The whole thing I learnt from my senior.

There are 2 midterms and one end term exam, so it is not that hectic. And it is not chilled out also. But everything is manageable.

The quality of the faculty of every department is different. The faculty of civil department is the best. Then that of mechanical production and electrical are good. And the faculty of computer science and IT department are not that good.
