Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is highly focused on research. The syllabus is combined with theory, practical, case studies, practice. The exams conducted are application based and test the critical thinking and problem solving abilities of the students.
Placement Experience
The college provides on-campus recruitment facilities. Many famous companies visit the campus. The college also prepared the students for screening process through placement training and also provides career development programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
An amount of Rs.7.46 Lakh /- is charged for the B.Sc course of three years. The fees is a bit high for everyone to afford. But, the high experience and education offered here is a lot more than fees they charge.
Fees and Financial Aid
No they is no scholarship or loan facility because no merchant navy institute provides these facilities. But for the backward classes the government loan is applicable and the fees that is paid is duly rebated to the student.
Campus Life
We are provided with many lab facilities. Various practicals and labs are conducted for a greater and deeper knowledge. Every year for every batch there is a farewell passing out parade, where all the students who are getting passed out, are congratulated and gifted souvenirs by the institute. This event is celebrated twice a year. Sendoff parties and event for B.Sc students are also organised.
Alumni/Alumna
All seniors are very helpful. If there is any problem regarding hostel or studies they always help us. They also guide how to be in the institute ,getting accustomed with the rules, how to prepare for the exams and campus selection.
Admission
The eligibility criteria of the college is securing 60% marks in the 10+2 boards examination with at least 50% marks in English. My selection was based on my IMUCET score and my 10+2 boards score. Based on these marks a merit list is prepared and I got admitted accordingly.
Faculty
The faculty is very supporting and enthusiastic one. All the professors of our faculty are highly educated and have an immense knowledge and experience in the industrial grounds. I am always guided and encouraged by the professors for my future planning and pursuits.
