Remarks

I had a great experience studying in this college. All the seniors and batchmates were very friendly with me and helped me a lot. I got lots of opportunities to learn and innovate. It was a great happy learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was amazing. Regular assignments and internal assessments were also provided to students by teachers. All the exams were conducted in the college and in a planned and efficient manner

Placement Experience

The college had excellent placement cell which used to organize several internship programs and placement drives. Companies like tata motors, Toyota, Honda, Dell, kpmg, pwc, etc., used to visit our college in the last semester and selected the candidates on the basis of interview

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was very feasible and affordable. My fee for B.tech was 2.77 lakhs per year. Students from reserved category and with weak economical backgrounds were also provided concessions in fee payments

Campus Life

The college had great vision and mission to help the students develop soft skills and hence gave them numerous opportunities to learn these skills by participating in the extracurricular activities and competitions which were conducted by the college

Admission

After completing my schooling, I gave the JEE entrance examination to get admission in IIT and fortunately got shortlisted for admission in IIT kerala on the basis of my marks in the entrance examination

Faculty

The faculty of my college was very good. All the students were placed under the guidance of well experienced teachers. All the teachers were very friendly with the students and guided them in the best possible ways

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

Placement oppertunities are often given during 4th year of our course. Average package is around 3Lakhs per year. Students getting placements are often high but most of the reject the offer for higher studies inorder to get a higher package.

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
