Entrance Preview

I take WBJEE entrance exam for entrance in BE and gate for ME. I score 107 in WBJEE and 2047 in GATE . Jadavpur university(ju)is best institution in west bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was very good. Subject arrangement was really very helpful for your future career. Only those subject are in syllabus which you need very much. 4 years course for b.e and 2 years for me. Total 8 semesters held in BE course and 3 semesters for ME.

Internships Opportunities

College internship experience was really amazing. There are many stipend offered to students. For doing good result fee concession availed. And also for very poor family students are got fee concession. I also availed gate scholarship in m.e course for 2 years.

Placement Experience

In JU placements was almost 100% in BE course on my electronics & telecom department 55 were placed out of 58. And some of them got 3 jobs in hand,some of them got 2 jobs.and in ME 17 are placed out of 23.companies are tcs, cts, ibm, infosys, ericsson, adobe, ibm r&d, wipro, capgemini etc.

College Events

In our university there are many college events are celebrated like technical,cultural festivals. In every year in our campus tech fest held,many colleges are atend that fest. And also held cultural fest in every year,where many famous band and singer will come.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for all student. And those are belongs to very poor families they will got fee concession. For BE course rs 2100 was per semester fees and for ME course semester fees was rs 2400 excluding hostel and fooding.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are offered by my college. But sorry to say no loans are available. Backward class scholarships,toppers scholarships and govt scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life was best time spent in my life. Friends are very helpful for any subject likes studies,games. Gender ratios of male female is 60-40. Labs infrastructure was very excellent,in campus many competitions are occurred among other college students like robotics,games and also debates.

Exam Structure

Exam will held semester basis. 2 semester in every year,and total 8 semester held in 4 years BE course and for ME 3 semester held. 2 year only one semester held. Odd semester exam held on november and even on may. Result out after one-one and half months from exam ending.

M.Tech in IIT KGP - What you need to know.

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here. It is also the topmost State Public University and 9th in NIRF I wanted to be a part of an institution that could be great to this extent.
