Mrinalini Dutta Mahavidyapith college is best for the students who want to take a quality education that too by not spending a lot on the college fees. It is a best place to learn as there are many guest lectures which teach us a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very well structured. The initial subjects are kept in the manner that first the pillars are set for a concept and then the main or important concept goes in detail when the student is cleared with the basic.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities in the college are fairly well. There are a number of opportunities for a student to select from. The top management companies visit the campus and share the profile with the students and then the students apply accordingly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college is very very affordable it is barely 11,000 for the complete course. This amount is something which all the people in the society can afford and continue their studies without burdening their pockets.

Campus Life

There are many events like Earth Day, Teachers day, freshers party that is conducted by the college management time to time. This is the reason why there are students every time in the campus as it is a fun place to spend time at.

Admission

For getting admission in this college one needs to get good marks in class 12th and one must fill the application form and pay the necessary fees so that there are no pending payments. Once everything is verified, the call letter is sent to the student.

The college faculty is strict and do not forgive students who create unnecessary disturbances in the classroom. The students are sent out of the lectures if they are not well aware of the concepts which were discussed in the previous lectures.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.
