Course Curriculum Overview

The course has all the topics and subjects covered which also includes working long hours in the lab with expensive apparatus and chemicals. The lab staff were fun and helpful too. The exam is held every semester.

Placement Experience

There is no opportunity for the placement which is sad, there is no students placement portal cell too in the college. However, we were constantly given career counseling and there was a separate counselor to whom anyone could approach for the counseling.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very affordable even though our course had lab work which includes working with so many apparatus and chemicals. My fee was about 1,500 per semester which could be afforded by middle class family too.

Campus Life

There were so many clubs like singing, arts and the students were encouraged to participate in the competitions that used to held almost every month. There were other departmental activities that used to take place.

Admission

I filled the online application form which was available on the college website. Important dates about the last date, release date of merit list, last date to submit fee were all given on the website. The admission was on the basis of first come first serve basis.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty were nice and having awesome teaching skills and with decades of experience. They made the toughest topics so easy with their teaching techniques. I am still connected to some of them as for them, the students' studies always come first.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is backdated and should be improvised as it doesn't give any exposure of present industry knowledge. The frequency of exams is that exams are held after 6 months on semester basis and are easy to pass and majority of the students pass this semester easily.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.
