Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and we?ve very good facilities like the laboratory. The teachers teach us very well and we students also take our education very seriously. The teachers conduct weekly tests and more.

Placement Experience

It is something every student aims for right after they finish their final year but unfortunately our college does not offer any placements or job opportunities to the students. There is no placement cell either.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course is Rs. 11,000. Every course varies by a few amounts here and there. The science courses are more on a pricey side. But I can confirm and tell for me this fee is very feasible as it was less.

Campus Life

The college hosts extra curricular activities for all the students. The students can relax and enhance their skills by participating in other events. A lot of festivals and well as events are celebrated in the college.

Admission

The students are selected on the basis of merit. The students can pay an admission fee and fill in the application form from the official college website. Then the students will enter a merit list to get selected.

Faculty

The teachers are very serious when it comes to studies but they are very friendly otherwise. They help us with all doubts and college events and more. They are very professional and have very good knowledge.

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.
