Course Curriculum Overview

ME computer science and engineering is the course which has the duration of 2 years and follows semester system. The course is a professional and demanding one. The structure and syllabus is very innovative and interesting. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

Placement Experience

The institution has a Placement Cell and provides with a great opportunities and resources to help the students in their careers. Placement programs are held and students are provided with various offers by top reputed companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the ME computer science and engineering is around 1 lakh 40 thousand for 2 years which is very feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, the fees is affordable and feasible.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities . They have various sports activities like football, basketball and much more. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates in which many other institutions take part. Various competitions are also organized for the better development of the students.

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research is located in Chandigarh and provides with master of technology in computer science and engineering to the students who have completed their graduation in B. Tech. They will have to give the entrance to get the admission.

The faculty of Computer science and engineering is very professional. They are dedicated and teach the students with full interest. They re well qualified and trained and also hold a good experience in teaching. Guest lectures are also held.

First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Pec...The best college in chd

Placement Experience:

This college has decently good packages both the average package and median packages as well as almost 80 percent studnets are placed before the 4th year ends...if I talk about my branch the median was 11 lpa and almost 90 students were palced out of 120 in 2024

My review of PEC Chandigarh

Course Curriculum Overview:

For improvement in teaching methods, they can go digital, like using smartboards, or use more practical teaching methods, or maybe just improve the way of teaching simply. Teaching methods here really need upgrades, mostly students here have to rely on youtube when exams come near.

Pec is still worth it

Placement Experience:

The placements have been lowered by 10-20% recently, but they are getting better. You will get a job if you manage cgpa above 7 and are decent with your skills, but then don't dream for 20lpa + jobs, you need to work upon yourself in silence to get 25-50 lpa packages and they do happen in our colleges, highest package in electrical 2024-25 was 52 lpa and in ece cse they had 61 lpa. Companies start coming in 3rd year for internships, only 10% manage to get intern in 3rd year, companies like microsoft, atlassian, flipkart, mercedes, jp morgan etc. they do come. Placement perecentage is like 75-80% in electrical and it is very low in civil (around 40-50%), in cse it is like 90% or even higher. My plan is to get an intern asap. (Maybe in 2nd year theough offcampus)

There is a placement cell but I do not have much information about it, as my course does not offer any placements, but there are other courses such as BCA, BCom and BSc CS which offers placement, according to me it must be around 30k to 40k per month

After the second year all the students become eligible for campus placement No big MNCs came into our college As per the student they offers and the highest package is around 20 lakhs and average package is 3 lakhs Almost 90 percents are getting the placements I am also preparing for the placements

college offers on campus placements from 4th year of the course . main companies are : Bains , JP Morgan , MaKinzey , PhonePe , Amazon , Apple visits here . highest and average package are around 60 lakh and 17 lakh respectively . 90 % students got placements this year .

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.
