Remarks

I chose this college because it has won several awards in the field of academics as well as sports. It is highly reputed in chandigarh. The campus has all the necessary facilities. The teachers are highly qualified. Overall, the college is quite popular.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was quite tough. The teachers are strict and the students are required to attend the classes regularly. We were given assignments to complete and also had to sit for exams regulalrly.

Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

There are no such opportunities for placement but some unpaid internships can be availed. This is the only sector where our college needs improvement. Otherwise, our college is one of the best among all.

College Events

Our college is well known for its achievements in sports. Our college hosts an inter NITTTR sports meet where several sports competitions are held. Our college also organises cultural events as well.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is well built and maintained. Our college provides facilities for sports like badminton court, table tennis court, carrom board, volleyball court, cricket ground etc. There is a library which has over 50,000 books. The classrooms are well ventilated. The labs are also well equipped with all the tools and the equipment.

Admission

The admission is granted on the basis of merit secured in GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4rth year are eligible for placement. Pgi provide job for it's own students. Bond system is here. Students can apply for foreign jobs as pgi provide their degree and a sheet with completed number of hours as in clinical we need 100% attendance. Students who don't want to work in pgi can go to different hospitals as pgi is a recognized university they will get job easily. 80% students get job in pgi. As many new blocks are building here for future, they will require large amount of nursing officers so they will give job to their own university students. Some senior got their job with a high amount as salary with health benefits, hostel allowanc, travel allowance, and tax is included. Working hour are less here, people can switch there shifts with there workmates as per there convince. My plan is to work here as a nursing officer and do my master degree from pgi itself.

Placement Experience:

From the last semester students can get placed in companies and students of masters can get placed in the 2nd year The highest package last year for masters student was 8lakh per annum and avg package is 4 to 5lakh Almost 80% of the class gets places My plans after getting bpharm degree is to go for MBA

Remarks:

The academics, faculty and facility are world class here which made me choose it in the first place. It's a monotony in our country that not many private or public colleges provide field experience too, which I got here.
