Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well structured. There is a lot of emphasis on research and also the departments also focus a lot of Practical approach. Most of the time is spent in laboratories. The exams are held at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

The have a placement cell which kepps a check on the Placements in the Univerity. 50-60% students get recruited in sorted companies of the country with good salary packages. There are also Internship opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fees for my program was around 20000 ruppes for one year including the laboratory fees which is quite sorted and feasible. For 2 years it was 40000 plus a little extra of Examination fees.

Campus Life

Students of the college are very talented and the college always right there best so that students can enhance their skills and showcase their talents so they conduct various competitions for them. They Also have various clubs societies and associations for the same.

Admission

The first step is filling of Application form. The admission is completely on the basis of merit of your graduation that is your bachelor's degree. If you have got a good GPA for percentage in bachelor's you can get admission easily.

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding. The Professors have a lot of work experience and are highly qualified. They like to guide their students and help them in every way possible.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
