Remarks
The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was divided into two parts and each had their own marking and credit structure. For the course we had both theory and practical papers. The theory papers was of 300 marks in each of part 1 and 2 and the practical papers were of 200 marks in each part. The total was a 1000 marks course.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell in the university which is both for regular as well as distance learning students. Students who want to move forward in their career with the help of the college can apply for placements hee.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the M.Sc. in Dietetics and Community Nutrition Management in Directorate of Distance Education, Vidyasagar University is divided into two parts similar to the course structure. The first part fee is Rs. 20350 and the second part fee is Rs. 20650.
Campus Life
There are many facilities that are present in the university but students who are in distance learning may not be able to avail those facilities of they do not visit the campus but the college allows the students to use their facilities completely.
Admission
For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.
Faculty
The teachers of the college were some of the most qualified ones and this could be determined from the way they taught our classes. We did not for a second feel like we were in an online class due to the way they conducted the whole thing.
