Course Curriculum Overview

The BA LLB (H) is a five year law course. The curriculum for each year is divided into two semesters. This makes the course less stressful as the subjects are all theoretical. After successfully completing the first two years, I had to go through a summer training for which I chose a law firm. This played a crucial role in shaping up my practical knowledge. The report makings and my internship in the final year were truly a learning experience.

Placement Experience

3

Since we had a compulsory internship in the final year of our course, most students ended up securing roles and positions in the same firm. As part of the placement process, renowned companies like OSC Offshore Services Private Ltd., Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd.and Sagar Chandra and Associates among several others have come to recruit new pass outs. The stipend in the early stages is relatively low.

College Events

3.5

Numerous cultural and management festivals took place in our college on a regular basis. Music, dance, drama and fashion were the focus of a lot of these events. We also had events and competitions for Hindi Divas. Annual sports day was another fun event that I participated in and enjoyed a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for BA LLB complete five year course is INR 3,67,000 which is very expensive. Although the faculty, academics, quality infrastructure along with numerous activities are surely worth the price. The fee is divided into tuition fee and other fee which when combined give a yearly total fee.

Campus Life

The various competitions related to sports, music, dance and fashion that took place during annual or monthly events were part of our extracurricular activities. I enjoyed participating in Moot Courts and Debates, as it boosted my confidence. Seminars, Workshops and Conferences conducted for adding more value to our knowledge.

Admission

After completing 10+2, I immediately appeared for the BA LLB eligibility entrance exam. Amity Law School was on top of my list as it has top notch infrastructure and academic facilities. Once the results were out, I proceeded for the counselling registration. There were several steps to complete the admission process which eventually result in seat allotment.

Faculty

4

The faculty consists of highly qualified lawyers. I personally looked up to Miss Manjula, who is a gold medalist in LLB, apart from other kind and humble professors. The faculty ensured that our doubts were always cleared and there was ample amount of encouragement to study harder.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.
