JAI HIND COLLEGE WAS ALWAYS THE FIRST IN MY PRIORITY LIST. I HAVE HEARD A LOT ABOUT THIS COLLEGE ON ITS CAMPUS, ACADEMICS ,ATMOSPHERE,CROWD AND THE NAME IT HAS ALL OVER INDIA. I LOVED THE WAY THAT EACH AND EVERY PERSON HELPED ME IN EVERYTHING BE IT RELATED TO ADMISSION OR ANY OTHER QUERY. I RESEARCHED A LOT ABOUT THIS COLLEGE BUT THE BEST CONTENT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY COLLEGEDUNIA AND I AM REALLY THANKFUL TO COLLEGEDUNIA FOR GIVING SUCH A GOOD PLATFORM TO STUDENTS.

Course Curriculum Overview

BACHELORS IN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE WAS THE COURSE THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. THE SUBJECTS WHICH THIS COURSE PROVIDES ARE THE BEST SUITED FOR ME. THERE IS A 40:1 RATIO BETWEEN STUDENTS AND TEACHERS WHICH IS GOOD. THE FACULTY IS ALSO VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THE COLLEGE DOES NOT PROVIDE PLACEMENTS AFTER UNDERGRADUATION. IT PROVIDES THAT AFTER POST GRADUATION BUT I HAVE HEARD A LOY ABOUT ITS PLACEMENTS AND ALL

THE FEES WAS MINIMAL AND THE COLLEGE IS NOT PROVIDING ANY SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NOW, BUT THEY PROVIDE FEE CONCESSIONS TO SOME CATEGORIES OF STUDENTS.

DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE COLLEGE IS DOING THE CLASSES ONLINE SO WE HAVENT RECEIVED THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO ON THE CAMPUS.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
