AIM Review

I had a very good time at AIM. Made a lot of memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. This college helped me to shape my personality and achieve milestones in my career. Today, I have my own business. Thank you AIM.

The Course Curriculum is comprehensive and involves a lot of subjects from variety of disciplines. It gives students an extensive platform to learn a lot of things. AIM gives special attention to Computer Literacy and Good Communication skills. The first year consists of General Subjects and in the second year specialisation subjects are added.

A variety of companies from different industries like retail, e-commerce, infrastructure, hospitality, etc come to conduct placements. The packages are good according to job scenario in the North East. The average package for my batch was 4 Lakhs.

AIM hosts events every almost month. Starting from business events to conferences to even cultural shows. The freshers' and farewell parties are quite fun where all teachers and students put up cultural shows. The Annual college fest is extravagant. Local bands and dance troops come to perform, fashion shows are done where students can participate and win prizes.

The total course fees is quite nominal in comparison to other colleges. For my batch it was 4 lakhs, inclusive of development fees, accommodation fees and exam fees. There are scholarships and grants available for students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category.

Hotel life is pretty cool at AIM. The rules are not very stringent, and there is plenty of scope to enjoy your time. There is a sports complex in the hostel premise where we could play after our classes. A lot of tournaments were help all throughout the year where students from different colleges would come to compete. Apart from that, cultural events were were prominent and were held almost every two months.

The hotels were very clean and safe. Especially for girls, AIM had provisions in place to ensure women' safety. There were guards at all gates at all times. The rooms were spacious and big. There was 24*7 Wi-fi connectivity in the hostel. Food was available at the mess subject to charges.

The Admission procedure is fairly simple. First you will have to fill out the online application form and upload details pertaining to your past academics as well as routine details. The admission depends on your graduation marks (minimum 60% for general and 45% for SC/ST/OBC) and a valid entrance exam score (CAT/MAT/XAT). I scored a 70% in graduation and 80% ile in CAT. Final shortlisting depends on GD and PI.

The faculty of AIM is like family. The mentors are so warm and welcoming that the students feels at home. They are always available for assistance both off and on campus. They provide study material that proves to be very helpful for exams and also provide extra reference material. They conduct regular evaluations to keep students motivated.
