Remarks

The Admission process was good. A valid AIMA-approved entrance exam like MAT, CAT, ATMA, XAT is required and the minimum entrance score will be fixed by the institute. I applied to this institution because of my good placement record. And one of the good colleges in the northeast. The admission procedure was followed by 3 rounds. One is a valid management entrance score, GD, and PI round.

Course Curriculum Overview

Facilities are well qualified with industry experience. All the facilities are doctorates. And here we have the trimester mode of examination. The Exam is conducted in 3 months. I chose this MBA program because I wanted to grow in the corporate world. And student-teacher is good enough of 8:1 ratio.

Internships Opportunities

Due to covid situation I had to the virtual internship. I have done an internship under a company based in Singapore virtually. If there would not have been lockdown in India various companies visit for recruitment as an intern.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is there. Various companies rated to the financial sector, banks visit for campus recruitment. Companies like ICICI bank, HDFC bank, SBI life, ICICI direct, Asian Paints, etc. visits. As I have got placement I will be joining the company. I have got recruited by ICICI bank. 80% of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have pursued this course in 4 lakhs 5 thousand Indian rupees. And every year fee is hiked. I got placement in one of the leading banks in India. Various scholarships are available but you have to be aware of that.

Campus Life

I have not got any fest during my time because of covid situation. But there are various other activities going on on the college campus. A Large number of management-related books and journals are present in the library. You will have wifi facility in the classroom. Sports week happens every year on the college campus.

Interview Experience

Our interview process was like a valid entrance score followed by GD and a personal interview. GD topics are not much tough and topics are given on the spot. The topics are generally related to the current scenario. And other important burning topics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

Overall experience was good.

Placement Experience:

The placement at college was good. The maximum package offered was 12.5 by Federal Bank and the mimimum was 2.5 by ICIC bank. The average package was 5.5. I got a placement offer from Collegedunia and I am very happy to got placed.

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

Placement Experience:

In our 2 year full time MBA proggramme students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Many reputed companies like Airtel, Coca-Cola, American Express takes part in the placement. The average package offered by the companies is 4-5 lacs Per Annum. Above 90% of the students of our department gets placed at the end of the course.
