Remarks

For MBA I have only applied in AIM and nowhere else. MAT, CAT and ATMA marks were taken into consideration for the GD PI round. Students were called on the basis of their MAT, CAT, ATMA and previous graduation, 12th and 10th marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The total number of seats was 70. The teachers here are very good and a lot friendly than other institutions. Every teacher here is a PhD holder. It's a trimester program so once a year 3 exams are held so a total of 6 trimesters in 2 years.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided us with good internship opportunities. Companies like Marico, ICICI, Asian Paints came up. ICICI also provides pre placement opportunities every year. But this time due to pandemics people found it hard to find a good internship opportunity.

Placement Experience

From almost the 4th trimester students become eligible for campus placements. Almost every student was placed in the previous years. But, now due to this pandemic students are not being placed now. Almost more than 50% students are yet to be placed in our batch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is pretty good. But, colleges should improve the interior and exterior which they have not done yet. During the time of covid, even the college has reduced an amount of 10k in the amount.

Campus Life

There is no proper arrangement of conducting any type of annual fests or sports program because the director who don't provide the students with funds to organize any event. There was a fest conducted a long time back.

Interview Experience

I prepared for the rounds by looking at the GD topics that were given in various institutions. At first students were called for the GD PI round based on their marks and then a total of around 40 students were selected in the first phase and then 30 students in the next phase.

Course Curriculum Overview:

To learn about business, entrepreneurship i chose this course but it didn't helped me in any way as of now It has only helped me in enhancing my communication skills more and nothing more than that My suggestions would be the course should include some digital marketing course and some other course as well so that it becomes worthy to study there and become ready for the outside world. The units exams were conducted on after every 1 month of course duration gets complete and the final 3/4 months of duration difficulty levels were not that much hard if you have studied properly and understood the concept you will pass

A look at TU for MBA program

Admission:

Once I applied to TU with my MAT score I was asked to come to the university for the GD and PI round. My GD round went for 15 minutes and we were given the topic about GST. In my PI round questions were asked about all my background activities besides academics, my reasons for choosing this course etc. Various mock interviews online helped me a lot while preparing for this round.

LIFE at TU

Remarks:

The MBA admissions are merit based. The basic eligibility was graduation with 50% marks and a CAT score. TU also conducted an interview and a counselling session once I was shortlisted. TU is a central university under the government, so they offer quality education for very less fees. This was the major reason for joining TU.

MBA in Tezpur University during Pandemic

Placement Experience:

In our 2 year full time MBA proggramme students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. Many reputed companies like Airtel, Coca-Cola, American Express takes part in the placement. The average package offered by the companies is 4-5 lacs Per Annum. Above 90% of the students of our department gets placed at the end of the course.

Best University in the entire North East

Remarks:

Faculty and the infrastructure are pretty great. The environment is optimal for learning. Overall best B-school for learning financial management. There are lots of corporate exposure. Placement is good as compared to other B-School in the region. I will suggest everyone to join this institute.

The Admission process was good. A valid AIMA-approved entrance exam like MAT, CAT, ATMA, XAT is required and the minimum entrance score will be fixed by the institute. Best and 100 % placements they used to provide, and the faculty are maximum IIM passouts with PHD. The students who are interested on banking sector and want a better designation can join AIM.
