Can I take a job while I am doing the course?

Participants admitted to the MBA program are not allowed to join any full-time job during the course of the program. Any student found violating this stipulation would be immediately expelled from the course. Even for part-time jobs, prior approval of the Director would be necessary.

What is the reservation quota for seats?

The reservation is as follows:ST (H)5%ST (P)10%SC7%OBC/ MOBC27%Foreign/ NRI sponsored Applicants3 seatsAIM also has two seats each reserved for students from Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim for which nomination from respective state governments are essential.

Aim the best management institute in assam

About the faculty i would say they give their best
They have the most decent and good environment in the campus
They have the best teachers for every level of mama

Dislikes

Yeah the hostel can be more better it’s relatively bad
The college is a bit far from the city which is also a disadvantage
They dont have proper field to play any sports

If i talk about placements then yes placement comes to our college where not only least companies but big companies too recruit from our college like itc, hdfc etc they offer us various job roles in their sector

My MBA journey at Assam Institute of Management

Placement Experience:

From the second year, our campus placements had begun some of the companies are as follows. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, HDFC AMC, Vishal Mega Mart, etc. The highest package was around 7.5 lakh and the average was around 3 4 lakh. Only 3 or 5 students didn't get placed and some opted out for placements to pursue their entrepreneur journey.

After the 5th trimester students become eligible for placement. Companies like Asian paints, Marico, icici bank, sbi life, sbi securities, Vishal etc. The average package is 4 lakhs and the highest package is 8 lakhs. 80% of students get placed and 20% are going for higher studies and other. So I plan to get places in a bank and gather experience.

Good institute for pursuing MBA

Placement Experience:

After completion of the first year, students are eligible for campus placements. Also, companies may offer pre-placement to students having done excellent work during the intership period with the respective company. The placement process starts right after the completion of the first year of the MBA course.

Earlier the percentage was good. But we the students of our batch are highly unsatisfied, maybe due to covid, things are against us. Still, to the last month of our college, almost half of the students are unplaced. After my degree, I have to search for jobs on my own or else do a business if I don't get any job.
