College has good education system with high practice knowledge. I feel blessed to study in this college as it always strives in shaping the minds of the future up-coming doctors.The Institute has also an hospital endeavours to work on an appointment system. College and hospital always focuses on the patients care and the peers in the field have recognized the courses offered by the Institute and the candidates obtaining degrees from SGPGIMS have been highly placed both within the country and abroad

The course structure is as equal as the other courses(3 years) as we anesthesiologists are highly required for every surgery ,we are supposed to concentrate more on the practical sessions especially we are mostly posted in ICU and perioperative theaters.We are trained to administer and manage anesthesia during surgical procedure. Exams are semester based. It is not so hectic as our faculty always teaches us in such a way to write the examination.

Placement opportunities are impressive. As the college is under state legislature act ,we have good exposure in the job opportunities field. We work even for the night shifts when needed. Stipend was upto 20-25k and work schedule is little heavy due to importance of anesthesiologists during surgical operation and theaters. College provides immense care and training for the students to enroll better in future.

Fee structure is about 3-5L for the complete course structure and it's merit based seats. It is quiet feasible in this college when compared to the other institutes as it's a semi government based hospital cum college. Provides wide range of facilities and education.

Scholarship is available for the low economic background students. 100% scholarship eligibility for the people earning less than 60,000 P.A. and loans are offered based on the students requirment. College offers the loan eligibility application to submit in banks and students can acquire easily without any difficulty.

Extracurricular activities were always on high. This campus always proves that not only education is necessary but also the other activities like sports, cultural programs etc.I participate in almost all the events as I love sports and other cultural activities. Student committee is always available for promoting the events. Sometimes we have the fest and workshops conducted according to the course schedule.

Hostel facility need to be obtained during the time of admissions as it's quiet few in number. Mostly students opt for the PG . Rentals need to be paid in installation wise and it depends upon the room sharing(2,3,4).

Alumini are always helpful and we can find their data from the academic department. They are really friendly and guides us in all the aspects. They also reffer us if needed. Our alumini mostly got placed in high reputed hospitals and earning quiet good income. All passed out batches are appreciable.

Being in hospital is really stressful on seeing the patients suffering with pain. I always used to pray to reduce the patients pain ,then I have decided to take up the anesthesiology course. Anesthesiologists are uniquely positioned to bring comfort to patients and their families through pain relief. This is an very fulfilling experience. So to get into this course the basic eligibility criteria is to write the PG NEET with MBBS degree. There are 16 seats available for this particular course. And it's a 3 year duration program. Quiet challenging one too.

Our college has nearly more than 190 faculty members with good educational background. Mostly all are Ph.D holders and quiet knowledgeable. They are so much enthusiastic in teaching us the subject and helping us in hospital based practices. They train us so hard and teaches us how important it is to promote patients pain relief. They always motivates us and helps in theoretical wise too.
