College is altogether good with the course they offer but management needs to be better organized and needs to do the things for the students that they are really supposed to do instead of just asking for the money for anything and everything.
Entrance Preview
TANCET,I got selected into 3 colleges but I opted this course and joined here as I think the time for usual MBA degree is over and its time to explore newer Field.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good, Had port visits, Syllabus was related to shipping industry, Had port operations, liner shipping, maritime law, Global maritime business.
Internships Opportunities
Companies are not much offered by college we have to find out by our own. Most of the companies do not offer any stipend at all. We have to work in and learn about the topic.
Placement Experience
Placement are about to start for our batch for our seniors we can't say that the placement were much. But we were assured that more companies would come up.
College Events
Tech fest conducted for two days, Cultural events fow two days, management events lasting for three days with the usual events. The college also willingly takes students outside to other colleges for event participations.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive when compared to other colleges offering the same course. The things we get in return are not much for what we pay but the name is the only thing that makes us wanting to join it.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such things being offered students who score the first second and third position gets a small prize money for their achievement.
Campus Life
Camups is quite small with an ship inside for demo training purpose. It also contains a swimming pool, an indoor court for table tennis, a gymnasium, Foreign students are present in large numbers going their graduation.
Hostel Facilities
I stay outside in a flat but I heard that the menu is good in canteen and the quality of food is not upto the expected standard.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were quiet good and very much helpful in solving doubts and supporting us in every manner possible. The even assist now in our placement activities.
Exam Structure
There are a total of four exams conducted in a semester two internals, a model and the final semester exam.
Faculty
Faculty are of a mixed bag as u see in every other colleges some r good in what they teach some are extremely bad without the field knowledge we have to cope up and live to our own expectations.
