Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose was BBA because I wanted to start my own business, and I learned how to be a good entrepreneur only through the BBA. Only then can I understand the basics of starting a business. So this course can help in life.

Placement Experience

This is my first year of college, so I am not aware of this, but it offers faculty and careers from top organizations. My seniors are my friends, and one of them works at Tata Steel Company. The college faculty members are also help to getting placed in good company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College is neither practical nor expensive, which means its moderate, yes practical. It has a fantastic fee structure, despite constant donations and donations to organized events. Easy access without the tension of finance.

Campus Life

All the events that I celebrate at my college take place with so much luxury and show. Earlier, I was at Don Bosco School in Siliguri, we have Bosco Fest, and I host a lot of events. We celebrate every festival with great joy.

Admission

The college selection based on the interview. Based on my past experience of my confidence and belief in myself. Not because of the interview, but because I got admission, I did well in the entrance exam. After selection, I visit the college to fill the admission form.

Faculty

Sir Bomic is one of our favorite teachers, and he teaches us well. He is a successful man and a great businessman, but he teaches us because teaching is his passion. Our accounts are very clear with us.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

The placement record in my college is preety good. 80-90% students are already placed this year. Average package is around 9.5lpa. Companies like ICICI, KPMG, PWC, Vedanta, Mother Dairy and so many are coming for recuiting students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

I pursued my graduation degree from Salesian College, Sonada and did not sit for any entrance exams for my college admission process. After aplying I got a call from the college course's HoD who took a telephonic interview. the cut was 60% approximately and even though I joined in late I was able to join the course.
