Course Curriculum Overview

They have a little burdensome course curriculum than other colleges. There are various tests during the semester there is a lot of focus on research and practical learning. You get a lot of assignments.

Placement Experience

The college does not offer any placements in the campus and also doesn't have any placement cell, since its degree college all you can get is a degree and then search for your own job after you have finished

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is slightly higher than it should be since the facilities provided are not as good as in other colleges with a lot lesser fees. I had paid 40000 for one year and about 1.2 lacs 3 years program which is quite a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

Even though the fees is high the college does not provide any scholarships to students on any basis and even the economically backward classes and SC ST do not get any scholarships. If you want to study and cannot afford it you have to take a loan.

Campus Life

There are quite a few extra curricular activities running around the college all the time mostly boys are sports enthusiasm they play various game during the breaks and after college. There are also clubs for students to join.

Admission

The college has its own entrance examination or aptitude test for admission. I got my application form directly from the college you might also find it on the internet and then clear the exams to get admission.

Faculty

The faculty is well educated and experienced. The guide the students well and encourage them to enhance their skills and become better people and learners of the era. They are very supportive and interacting.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

Salesian College, Regain your confidence

I pursued my graduation degree from Salesian College, Sonada and did not sit for any entrance exams for my college admission process. After aplying I got a call from the college course's HoD who took a telephonic interview. the cut was 60% approximately and even though I joined in late I was able to join the course.
