Remarks

Positive remarks are very much about our college no enjoyment and the facility are not so good and teaching is very good and the environment for studying is not so high. There is lot much scope for agriculture. UAS is the best college to represent your aptitude with the help of Youth Fest and also helps to get to know about the various things about Agriculture. You get the realistic knowledge by working in the field and laboratory both.

Course Curriculum Overview

The structure and orientation of the course curriculum is crafted keeping in mind specialized need of industry in sync with the need of a bachelor's level program in the respective domain. Semester wise system of examination is followed where by a single year of the program requires us to appear in 2 end semester examinations. Before the end semester examination midterm test and assignments are conducted for performance assessment.

In terms of placement most of the students apply for government sector research labs and nurseries for which they start preparation in their second or third year. The university through its placement cell provides placement opportunity to the student however not everyone gets placed through that. Internship as an integral part of the course and the college provides that support through its nurseries. One can also look for internship opportunities on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in our University are feasible and not too much. For the complete course duration total fees stands at around Rs 80,000 each year approximately Rs 18000 are necessary to be submitted at the start of each college year.

Campus Life

There are all the facilities on our campus like a large library which many collections of books and magazine, a vast ground and all types of labs connected to agriculture. There are classrooms with all the facilities like a smart board, led projector etc. The hostel facility is also excellent. Various events are organized by university like the cultural club, the horticulture, sports club, Foundation Day, Republic Day etc provides room for extra-curricular activities

Alumni/Alumna

Every senior will help their junior in featuring their job opportunities and higher education. There is a strong bonding between the junior and senior students. The UAS College has largest alumni relationship where different alumni students will help college during tough tuff situations.

The university offers 12 UG courses, 12 PG courses and Doctoral courses in 10 disciplines under the Agriculture and Agriculture Science departments. The admission is done in both the courses is on merit basis. Although the applicant will be required to appear for a practical exam which will represent the 50% Weight age in the preparation of merit list, other 50% being the marks scored in the qualifying examination.
