Course Curriculum Overview

The Bachelor of Psychology is a three-year course that provides insight into conscious and unconscious phenomena. After completing the course, you can work as an advertising agent, career counselor, psychologist, etc. You learn about emotions and feelings

Placement Experience

Many companies like Axis Bank, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, Cipla Limited, Pharmaceuticals and Cedus Cadillac Ltd. visit Sikkim University annually. Usually, these companies offer jobs or internships ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very low?o need for a large amount of entrance fees. The university offers only three-year courses. First Year Fee, e, Entrance Fee is Rs 5,600 / - only and the remaining two years Rs 2,200 for each year Total of Rs 10,000 / - at the end of three years. I things it is amazing.

Campus Life

5 Undergraduate, 32 Post Graduate, 28 M.Phil / Ph.D. Programs with different specializations are available. Sports are an important part of the university. Various cultural activities are also held. There are also laboratories, canteen, and common rooms. The university was founded in 2006.

Admission

The Central Admission Test (CAT) is held for all applicants of UG and PG programs. Along with these marks, 10 + 2 marks are necessary to obtain for the admission. Registered students of Sikkim University are given a 10% weightage to make a merit list of UG courses.

Faculty

Each department has different faculty members who have tremendous knowledge; they have different characteristics and are the best in their disciplines. There is integrity among all faculty members. Their credentials make them more interested in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah replacement system I am not family or with this placement in all because had just recently join not just recently it's been like one and half year but also in placement system I am not focusing on that side because you know what I don't rely on this college I just need degree from this college and just want to be independent and search for job business on my own this collage is just waste of time still I am saying this tho I cannot do anything about this because I am already in second year so if I leave this college now I have no other option to do better option to do so I am I am stock in this college you can say and replacement system everything is just fine not so much good not

Placement Experience:

I do not have much idea about this field. If I'm not wrong internships begin from 2nd to 3rd year itself, and placements from 4th year. The avergae package here is around 6 LPA, and the highest package offered is 56 LPA. That'll be all from side.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i have to talk about the curriculum then, overall its good. It covers all the aspect starting from very basics to the most advanced ones for both theory and practical. This course including the teachers prepares us (students) very well to face the real world applications or further academic pursuits. They emphasise more on practical based teaching then theory. If i have to give an example then its 3:7 ratio for a topic. Where 3 theory sessions and 7 practical sessions.

Because of my father's Business & I want to do job in pharma company. 60% Boys & 40% girls. Teaching with good way & qualifications are also good. In one semester(6 months) there are two internal Exam & one semester exam & 50% number is needed in each & every subject to pass.

Modern and friendly college

Remarks:

I love my college, though I hate the place majhitar because of its hot weather. Obviously there are a lot of areas where the college can improve, but the faculties are great. The college doesn't always provide you various extra curricular activities, and to organise anything is a headache. But it is a fun college.

I chose this college because it was feasible and close to my state (Assam). It was the only central university close to my state which provided psychology honors. I had applied at jnu but did not got selected and few others but this university was closer to my home and Sikkim is a great place to study because of the people very good. I feel safe and secure had lots of fun.
