An amazing journey

The college provided me the best platform to experience and train as a lawyer. The faculty and education was the best and I got into a well known law firm with the package of ?10 lakhs per annum. I would always be thankful to my teachers at NLU.

My course was divided into 3 years of BA that is graduation and 2 years of LLB that is law. The system for graduation was taken semester wise examinations and presentations were submitted timely. The law started and we were introduced to moot court practicals. The externals and internals were taken semesters wise. The curriculum on the whole was relaxing but very long.

The college arranged placements at the end of the 5th year. Many well known and recognised law firms and organisations came to interview us, the selection was on the basis of interview performance and academic ground. 85% of the students got placed in my batch with the highest package of ?12 lakhs per annum.

Colleges hosted a lot of events and ceremonies. Events like sports day and annual day were celebrated widely and all the students used to participate and contribute in the event. The cultural festivals were celebrated and all the religions were honoured equally. The freshers was hosted by seniors and farewell by the juniors. Law seminars were conducted and were celebrated largely.

The fees for the first year was ?1.78 lakhs which could be submitted in the form of Demand Draft, card payments, e-Challan. The fees was very high for 5 years but worth the exposure it was providing and the placement status it held.

The infrastructure of the university was beautifully constructed and had huge playgrounds to play sports, libraries were provided with latest books and had all kinds of textbook references. The moot courts were spacious and well maintained where all the practical proceedings took place.

The hostel is located in the centre of the campus and was guarded by the security 24*7. Boys and girls had separate hostels with full room services and equipment. The washrooms were maintained clean and hygienic. The mess had strict timings and served healthy and tasty food. Overall the campus of hostel was secure and safe.

The alumni meet used to happen once a year and ex seniors addressed us and delivered lectures about their current and future projects. All were very humble and down to earth. They all communicated with juniors very well and always guided us.

After my 12th class result I gave the entrance examination of CLAT and secured good marks. I applied to the college via their official website and submitted the required details and documents, after the selection I was called for the counselling session and the interview was conducted. My admission was confirmed and I submitted the first year fees at the university.

The faculty was amazing and very helpful. All were well known nobles and scholars with the best experience and exposures. The faculty was fluent in English which led to no communication gap between the teachers and the students.
