Entrance Preview

I appeared for an examination called XAT Xavier Aptitude test. I scored 96.85 percentile in it and got interview callI chose XL because of its Brand value.

Internships Opportunities

Wasn't applicable in the course I didThe GMP is for people having more than 5 years of work experience. Hence we dont need to go for internships as other regular MBA students do.

Placement Experience

Excellent, All were placed Companies from verticals such as real estate, IT, consulting etc. came and offered best in the industry packages to students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various scholarships XLRI keeps floating on a regular basis. One of my batchmates got a scholarship of 2 lacs from the institute (for his exemplary overall performance and not-so-good financial condition).

Campus Life

Campus life in XL the best one can imagine and I believe this is the way life at colleges should be. Gender ratio in our batch was 1:10.Sports and other facilities at campus were world class.

Alumni network of XL is one of the best in industry. Being an executive member of the alumni committee of XLRI, I was introduced to few of the top shots of the industry during my curriculum

Exam Structure

Exams/ Evaluation pattern varies from professor to professor. Apart from the 40% end term exam, the remaining 60% can be structured in any way by the concerned professor.

It was under my budget. Because of my financial condition of my family that time I was unable to pay the college fees and education loan didn't get sanction by the bank because of my family financial records they were asking for guarantor it must be government employee it was very hard to find no one were ready to help my father and me as a guarantor so I decided not to study in that SBS Ahmadabad college I asked the college to return my money whichever I deposited for registration Rs.20,000. XLRI HRM - In and Out

The eligibility is graduation in any stream. The admission process is available on the college website. You have to score good percentile in XAT exam so that you can get a call for the interviews and then, if your interview is good, you can convert your call and secure admission. Now they have started GD PI also, and interview process is no more virtual. The application fees is somewhere between Rs 2500/- and Rs 3000/-.
