Course Curriculum Overview

It is a two year course, basically we are taught the medieval and modern Bengali poetry , Tagore Literature, novel and short stories, Bengali folk literature. Within two year we have four semesters to test our knowledge we acquired.

Placement Experience

We have good Placement coming from different newspaper company, college and universities, language departments. Yes internship is provided from college but students can apply from different sources as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My total fee for this course was Rs. 19000 inclusive of admission fee . This college usually charges very less for most of the courses and thus it makes one of the best college in our North-East.

Campus Life

Our college has wide scope of extracurricular activities , the entire land counts around 7200 sq.ft. with two large play grounds.Our seniors participated in International games. Our college organize KhoKho Competition where all students are encouraged to participate.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel is available for girls and the monthly fee is 500 and Rs.1500 is to be paid during admission which is one time payment. Electricity bill is to be paid separately depending on the bill incurred each month.

Admission

I applied online from college's website and candidates with Bachelor Degree in Bengali can apply for this curriculum aside that the payment of the application form can be made online and offline mode. I was allotted based on my merit in bachelor course.

Faculty

We have five professors and 2 teachers in our M.A faculty ,we have other professors who visits our campus and conduct seminars and lectures on our subjects. Moreover our faculties hold Ph.D degree thus, helps us gain a lot from them about our respective subjects.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .
