Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Sociology because this course helps me to understand society and i can sharpen my point of view towards every aspect of our society. Sociology is very interesting course when you start understanding your society very well.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is affordable. Every type of scholarship is available and anyone can get the help of the financial assistance that the college provides. Campus do offer opportunities for employments but not that much.

Campus Life

College freshers fest are held around August and september after 2-3 months of admission and the annual social fest are held around November and December. Many type of annual and technical fests are held every year. Every aspect about the canpus is very good. Library has a vast range and accessibility of books.

Admission

There was no entrance exam for the college. Admissions were based on the marks of 12th boards. There was 6 Counselings for admission. Admission process was very easy. There was no aspects of the admission process i didn't like

Faculty

Faculty members such as teachers, clerks and other staffs are well qualified and very helpful to everyone in the campus. I have very good interaction and approach with my department teachers. Faculty to student ratio is not that bad but it can be better.

The teachers are very friendly. Supply of clean drinking water is available always. Rooms are large, clean, fitted with lights and fans. There's also mic available for large classrooms. The rooms have their specific numbers.

Remarks:

No negative comments. The college is one of its own of a kind. It is surrounded by a plethora of greenery which helps the college to be brimmed in fresh air. 24×7. There's no problem at all. The transportation and communication is also of top notch.

A good government aided college

I applied for Siliguri college, Darjeeling college, Kurseong college and I get the chance of admission in these colleges. But I choose ac college over the other colleges because the college is very renowned and my department the department of botany have produced many university toppers. The admission process is simple.
