Course Curriculum Overview

The course duration is of 3 years. College focus on new creativity and imagination. The exams are conducted regularly by the college so It is the hectic stage. But otherwise the college life is chilled. The college provided all the facilities to us like Library, playground, art galleries and canteen. We enjoyed 3 years here a lot.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunity were less here. As it was arts stream. But college conducted different sessions like aptitude, interview preparation and debates which helped us a lot to improve our abilities and strength.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of the college was too less. It was too feasible than other colleges. In such less feed college provided all the facilities to the students. The college fees was about just 2 thousands per year. Hence it was affordable to each and every one.

Campus Life

College focuses on overall development of students. Hence sports activities like football, cricket arranged frequently. Technical events like workshops, debates are arranged frequently. Also, annual functions, arts exhibitions continuously held in the college premises.

Hostel Facilities

There are 2 hostels here. One is boys hostel and other is girls hostel. Both the hostel are neat and clean and fulfilled with all facilities. But the rules and regulations are quite strict here. Also various pg and mess are available near the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is too strong. Our seniors are the best seniors. They have a great knowledge about future scope and current scenario. They always shared this knowledge with us. They are too helpful and caring. In short, they are just like our siblings.

Admission

Ananda Chandra College is one of the oldest college in West Bengal. The college is affiliated by university of North Bengal. As I am interested in Arts background so I took admission here for bachelor of arts. The admission is based on merit.

Faculty

The faculty of the college was just perfect. They had about 5 years of experience and their talent and skills was just appreciable. We gained arts skills from them. They improved our creativity and imagination with their beautiful teaching. They were too helpful and always available for us in any difficult situation.

A perfect real life experience

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we are eligible to sit for campus placements . Companies like tcs , wipro, infosys often comes here. 70% of the students gets direct placements. My plans after getting the degree is to do higher studies like mba and from this college.

Remarks:

I heard about this college have some very good course. Academic majors are available.Affordable cost for taking admission.It is near from my hometown. Average classroom infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi facility available. The food of the canteen is also good. And it has a big ground where you can play outdoor games. In this college there is good infrastructure,good faculty member, good non teaching stuff also. This college give the perfect knowledge of the real world.

A good government aided college

I applied for Siliguri college, Darjeeling college, Kurseong college and I get the chance of admission in these colleges.
