Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum concentrates on various subjects of pharmaceutical science like drug development and research, manufacturing and how the drugs should be given dosage to patients. The semester exam for theory and practicals are conducted by the college and the final exams are by university.

Placement Experience

The college organises visit tothe campus for the placement process which includes the pre-placement talk and the interviews. A brochure is printed detailing the achievement of the students which is shared with the companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees is 1,30,000 for 2 years. For students belonging to lower income sections, the fees is still low. The college has hostel facilities for which separate payments have to be done on every month.

Campus Life

Many events are conducted like indoor and outdoor activities, sports events, free medical camps in rural communities, cultural events and speeches by senior doctors and leaders in Pharma domain. Industry tours are part of the curriculum.

Admission

Candidates seeking admission into NIPER should have UG degree with 55% marks and should have cleared JEE conducted by the NIPER university. Applying students should submit all the original documents with application form for validation.

Faculty

The faculties are well dominant in the field of pharmacy and medicine and many of the professors have completed doctorate. They have many years of experience in hospitals domain which is their key advantage in making to prepare our mindset for a real job.

First, we had to register ourselves online on the admission link provided on the college website. Next, I filled the application form and submitted it along with the scanned copies of my documents. After few days, the college uploaded a merit list on its website. My name was there in the 1st list. Thus, I was granted admission.

In my eyes I never found any single negative point of my college. Maybe I loved my college too much but in order to support my statement, if the attendance sheet of my college gets published in a public domain I can probably say that in my city, my college will certainly have the maximum number of students attending class compared to any other private colleges.

Extracurricular activities and labs should be given more importance and practical education needs to be promoted more, otherwise the experience is quite satisfactory. You will enjoy these 5.5 years in the college and hostel to your fullest.

The best thing about my college is its infrastructure it has nice labs and class rooms very big library, nice faculty the bad thing about my college is its hostel rooms are nice but foo quality is just average internet connection is only for 3rd and 4th year students.
