The management is helpful when it comes to get any job done from them, like asking for certificates or official statements, etc.

The course curriculum opens window to a wide range of subjects and electives, both theoretical and practical. We had a field subjects as well. The syllabus taught was as per the needs in the corporate world. Apart from that, we also had an extra subject, known as Foreign Business Language, where you get an option to study either German or French language as a part of your curriculum.

For the Civil Engineering course, a number of companies, including JMC Constructions, L&T, etc have visited for placement. Also the university Placement cell is very much interactive woth students and provide any sort of help needed, be it sitting for placement, or searching for internship opportunities.

Amity University Kolkata celebrates its annual fest Amiphoria every year. It is a 3-day event which involves games, cultural events, celebrity functions, etc. Apart from that festivals like Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Mahalaya and many other cultural programs are celebrated by all the students.

The semester fees for my course is around 95k for each sem. It increases by 7% every year. The total cost of my course for 4 years in around 7. 7 lakhs. The University online portal provides a complete breakdown if the fee structure. Fees can be paid either via DD or online.

Amity University have their own criteria for providing scholarships. It is based on the percentage score in 12th Board examinations. I did not get any scholarship as I coould not make the criterial percentage in my 12th.

There are almost eymqual number of boys and girls studying. The camous is under extension right now for future students. Labs are fully equipped with all the necessary items needed and any missing items are provided fast enough very conveniently. There are a number id social clubs, like Drama, Debate, Sports club, etc.

The seniors and alumni are very much helpful, be it in studies or other issues, like team selections, setting up events, orientation, etc.

Amity Universoty Kolkata is one of the best autonomous universities of Kolkata with a vibrant university infrastructure and faculty. For the admission process, first I had filled out the Application form and submitted. I was given a date for Entrance Exam and Interview. First we had to sit for the Entrance Exam, subjects were Physics Chemistry, Mathematics (since I applied for B. Tech Civil Engineering) and an English essay. After the exam came the turn for Personal Interview. I was notified of my admission after 7 days from the day of the Exam.

My course consisted of total 210 study hours for 4 years. Most of the faculties are middle-aged have some to good exoerience in the industry, having worked there for a number of years before joining our university. The faculties are always helpful in any query. They have vast knowledge over the subjects and have good experience in teaching sector. While doing practicals, oir professors used to provide in-depth explaination of the experiments.
