College overall is good and is one of the top ranked college in the Mumbai university. It also has a good reputation overall and supports extracurricular activities alongwith the studies.
Entrance Preview
Did not take any of these entrance examinations. I choose engineering course because of my interest in subjects like maths and science which are required for engineering course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course consisted of 4 years, with each year divided into 2 semesters. Each semester had around 6 to 8 different subjects which taught about various electronics subjects, maths, science, etc. It included theory as well as practicals.
Internships Opportunities
I have no experience of college internship. But many companies came for campus recruitment. These involved companies like Infosys Technologies Ltd, Godrej, etc.
Placement Experience
College has a good campus placements. Many companies like Infosys Technologies Ltd, Godrej, TCS, Honeywell, etc came for campus placements. These companies offered packages ranging from 1 Lacs to 2 Lacs on an average.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of any loans, though education loan provided by banks was available. College provided with scholarships. These scholarships helped deserved students to get discounts on the college fees.
Alumni/Alumna
College has a strong alumni network. It helps connect alumnus with the college, even after passing out from the college. Ex students could get help from the teaching staff even after passing out.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted every semester, which consisted of written exams as well as practicals. For few subjects there was viva as well, which used to be conducted by internal as well external faculties. There used to be mid terms exams being conducted by the college.
Faculty
In general the overall college faculty was good. It had a good mixture of young and experienced staff. The teaching standards were also pretty good. Few of the professors were top class.
