Remarks

I would say if you are getting admission in this college, go for it without giving a second thought.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would say that curriculum was fairly relevant to what I wanted to study. It was industry driven and we were made to know the importance of each subject in industry. Teachers are extremely helpful and co-operative. Apart from the theories and practicals in class, industrial visits were organized to introduce us to real projects and to get an idea about how industries work.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a placement cell in the college and students can get registered themselves to avail offers from companies.

College Events

4

The department organizes various conferences and seminars every year and speakers from different companies give insights about this field. These are quite informative and we learnt from them alot. Apart from that, the college organizes its annual fest, lashkara, which includes games, events, musics and other fun activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for the course is around 17k per year which is extremely cheap. The quality educations they provide in this fee structure is highly commendable. The college accepts fees through Demand draft or online banking. Yes the college clearly explains the fee structure and any additional costs to be bear by students on its website.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for scholarship or any education loan. But yes there are scholarships fornstudents who do extremely well in academics and for those who cant afford the fees.

Campus Life

4

Studying and living in north campus for 3 years were the most cherished years for me till now. You will get to see various food points and cafes nearby. For party lovers, there are unlimited cafes and restuarants which serve tasty food. There are approximately equal number of males and females in the college. The environment is pretty relaxed and I am sure you will enjoy your 3 years in the campus. Although you will be approached by different students unions trying to gain your votes. Delhi University's student Union elections are one the most looked over elections in the country and you will see unions raising slogans and spending huge amount of money just to gain votes.

Alumni/Alumna

Our senior helped us in every possible way, either in studies or career guidance. They used to inform us about new technological advancements in the field.

Admission

Studying in Delhi University was always a privilege. After getting good marks in 12th exams, I applied for this course in Delhi University. The admission process usually starts from May and you have to wait for the cut off lists till June end. I luckily got admission in one of the prestigious colleges in north campus because it was a dream come true. Studying Electronic Science was always in my mind and I was very keen to know how electronic goods work. I wanted to know the science behind all these technogical wonders and decided to invest in this field.

Faculty

4

There are about 6-7 professional Phd holders having industrial experience in electronics field who guide you throughout the course. They are very coperative and try to impart maximum knowledge to students. They tend to give attention to each and every student and try to clear doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.

I my opinion they must add the logical and critical part more than the traditional proving part in all core subjects . Its more like we are becoming a bookworm rather than to train our minds logically.

I believe that my course has relevance in the upcoming generation. Statistics is a department where a person could flourish and learn a lot and at the same time applying it in their own life. There could be more connections with real examples and professors could take example and also enhance our knowledge. My course is a rigourous course which needs proper studies as well
