Likes

Infrastructure is nice in my college. It proves to be a nice place where people could study
It is one of the oldest institute so it has a value.

Dislikes

It does not have proper canteen services and lacks hygeine
Some of the classes are too small and suffocating with no ventilation

Course Curriculum Overview

I believe that my course has relevance in the upcoming generation. Statistics is a department where a person could flourish and learn a lot and at the same time applying it in their own life. There could be more connections with real examples and professors could take example and also enhance our knowledge. My course is a rigourous course which needs proper studies as well

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 18213 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 18,213 rupees as my course fees(stats hons) in du. I have heard that the fees is increasing rapidly. My batchmates have paid the same amount but it differs with course..there are many scholarships that are available for students one such is aicte where a student could register and earn too.

Campus Life

It has been 1 month since I joined college and it is good for now. People make social connections and learn a lot from others. People step out from their comfort zone and be a part of different activities and find themselves. Potential for Extracurriculars could be discovered too here.

Admission

I chose this college because of its brand value. ("North campus" tag). I also had Statistics as my 3rd preference for course. Though I wanted colleges above it and wanted eco or bcom hons but because of my marks and cut off criteria I couldn't. Normalisation decreases my marks. This course can be learnt more and people could doasters which would give them a high paying job. Also students could give isi exams.

Faculty

Faculty of my course is moderate. Professors would surely help you in your studies but you cannot rely on them. Self study is too crucial for my course. There faculty to students ratio is less. Every subject faculty conducts internal tests where checking is lenient.

Night Life

No hostel yet has been provided to us this year. Campus timing are from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. there are many places to explore in the campus area. Students need to take their time and explore different places and what they like.

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Placement Experience:

We have an active placement cell in the college. Students are eligible for placement in 6th Semester. there are quite a lot of companies that offer jobs and we do get a decent average package. I plan on pursuing master's degree after this.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

It is a place to develop yourself.

Placement Experience:

I think from 3 year 5th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies that comes are Deloitte,ibm etc. i have not too much knowledge about that but i think the median package is 4-5 lakh per annum and highest is 10 lakh. My want to become more professional and become capable to buy anything of my interest.

Life when you get into srcc
