What Students Say

Likes

The campus is quite big and has a lot of facilities.
The college have its sports complex, sports ground, basketball ground, volleyball court and badminton court.
The location is too good with a lot of greenery inside the campus.

Dislikes

The canteen of my college does not have proper hygiene.
The washrooms needs to be maintained with good hygiene.
The classrooms does not consist of air conditioners.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum offers wide range of subjects giving you a big opportunity to go in the field of acturial science which is also the need of the hour. Moreover student from Statistics can also go for CFA.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 18213 per year

Internships Opportunities

It does not have a central internship program but through its placement cell students find opportunities in NGO's like Pawzz and Muskurahat Foundation with stipends ranging to 2000 to 10000. Corporate companies also offers internships like Bisleri with stipends ranging to 5000 to 30000 or even more based on skill.

Placement Experience

Placements of my college are through a student-run society named Pinnacle which is the placement cell of our college. It brings big companies like EY, Delloitte and many more. The average package is about 5,50,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure yearly is 18213 per year. Apart from it the registration fees for cuet is there and the college exam fee or charges are there. There are scholarships provided to students for financial aid based on merit offered through National Scholarship Portal 2.0.

Campus Life

Infrastructure provided is quite good and the societies here are amazing which offers a btter networking and a value addition to your knowledge. I went through a diversified crowd over here. And campus life in terms of area and facilities provided are woth it.

Admission

I chose this college because of its location in North Campus and the diversity this college offers with diversified courses. I did not select the other college because of its crowd. And honestly this college offers a good political exposure if anyone is interested in it.

Faculty

Faculties are easily approachable but they are outdated. The faculties needs to be modern so that students can learn things according to new surroundings. This course is a little bit difficult but can be coped up with hardwork.

Night Life

Favourite hangout spots around my college are Majnu Ka Tilla, Tom Uncle's Maggi and Sudama's Chai. There is also a gym area where friends usually workout together. Library is well maintained which could be a perfect spot for studies.

Hansraj College: A 3 Dimensional Review

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Life in RAMJAS

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Strong academics, vibrant fests and supportive campus life at Hindu College

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance.
