Remarks

It was memories which we will remember till our last day and the department gave us a very rich experience where studies, life skills and also pastimes made us a better person. I owe to the teachers who instilled discipline and knowledge and life values which we will pass on to the next generation so that the culture of well-being survives.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course was as per the AICTE and complied with the Post Graduation of UGC and it was packed all the important facets of Management education. The research papers of the university were also accepted by the industry and academic circle. The steely resolve of the students was made by completing the course as it was very professionally managed with holistic development and construction project work in real-life problems in the Industry.

Placement Experience

5

I got placed from Campus and did a project from the same Company i.e Ozone Ayurvedics. I had a training of fieldwork and product training at their training center at Gurgaon.

College Events

5

COncourse, ALumni Meet, Campus Placement, Seminars, Workshops, Projects and various other mechanisms where we gained a lot of experience. We also participated in picnics and other pastimes like carrom, chess, table tennis, cricket, and other games which refreshed our energies to devote better to the class.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Rs.2 lakh per annum and it was very moderate and it was attended by all segments of the society and there were scholarships for students who were meritorious and had the excellent academic record. The course fees were the USP as Management Education was considered to be expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. The scholarship was provided by the University and the criteria were fixed by the senate and board members of the university.

Campus Life

5

We had 9 females and 20 males in our batch. We did a lot of extracurricular activities and we arranged our concourse which was an annual event and we assembled the industry people and conducted a seminar which was a quality one. It was very well organized and was attended by senior people from academia and industry and we got very good responses from our alumni. We organized the alumni meet and a lot of alumni attended the session. We also did a lot of connectivity exercises with our alumni and had their presence in various sessions. They gave lectures on soft skills and we always were connected with them through emails, greeting cards and also formed a database of the alumni for our placement.

Hostel Facilities

3

No. the hostels were for outstation candidates and we had local students except one or two ladies who arranged hostel facilities from their own sources. Further, the hostel facilities of the university were cheap and reasonable.

Alumni/Alumna

They were helpful and organized campus placement and projects. They gave inputs for our placement brochure which they gave snippets useful for employers to browse about the rich lineage the course had and we had a very amicable relationship with the alumni.

Admission

I was always inclined for understanding the facets of business and what better than the degree in Management the gate pass to a wonderful career. I had toiled and slogged to clear the CAT examination and thereafter with an interview process I got the coveted chance to represent me at the Business Management course of the University of Calcutta in the Department of Business Management. The course fees were very moderate and campus placements were very good. The alumni pool and the faculty list were renowned and we had a glorious lineage from the year 1974 and I was very proud to be a student of about 32 others in the university of reckoning.

Faculty

5

Pedagogy was excellent and the faculty was both full-time and part-time. The average qualification of the full-time faculties was PhD and post-graduation in Economics, Statistics, Management and allied discipline like Commerce. There were engineers and other domain people who attended the part-time classes from Industry and Academic disciplines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
