Remarks
The management loves to be very professional which doesn't go out very well with middle-class students, since they are uncomfortable with all-time English speaking.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I have taken science ill elaborate that a bit. Science stream has 5most important subjects - 1) Algebra 2) Geometry 3) Physics 4) Chemistry 5) Biology. If in future you want to take admission in engineering you must be good at physics and if you are interested in medicine you must take biology seriously. The marks are divided into 3 parts Assignment Practicals Theory (written exam) chemistry, physics and biology practicals are very interesting and you can score very good in those. The theory however in the fyjc the papers are college prepared thus seems very difficult due to its high standards and reputation. This will train you for Boards very well.
Placement Experience
Since its a junior college, there's nothing like the placement. However, am sure that your interpersonal skills and knowledge would increase tremendously here.
College Events
There are many events which take place here. These events are well organised and also celebrity is also invited here in such events. One of the famous events named josh. which an ultimate paradise for extracurricular activities lover The fest includes dance, social services and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are very very less here. It was roughly around 900rs in 2012. However, it may have been revised. The fees here are very less as compared to other junior colleges. You only need to care about the books and foods to enjoy in the best location in Mumbai.
Fees and Financial Aid
I never opted for scholarship since I had a merit rank and was very easy to get here. However, as I said its a junior college the fees is very less and thus very affordable too.
Campus Life
A gender ratio is neutral here. But I assure you'll see the best chicks and studs in the campus in your however majority of the crowd is Sindhi and Jain as its a minority for them. But you'll find some suburb people too which will help you comfortable with them with time.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, of course, the alumni students are very helpful and they will provide you with the proper guidance for your future.
Admission
Usually, the college admits students based upon your 10th standard percentage, however, the cutoff percentage for admission is 85% for non-management candidates. Once you get selected based upon the merit cutoff, a personal interview will be conducted by the principal itself. The interview analysis your confidence level, attitude and also how fluent you are in the English language. So I would suggest you speak confidently and don't get scared. They will just ask you about the family background and your school life.
Faculty
The faculty is very brilliant and are very down to earth. They are always ready to help you out. The attendance is very strict here. 75% is compulsory. However, if you will be good to your professor then they could help you out if you have low attendance. There will be around 5 lectures per day and 1 practical of any subject.
