Remarks

It's near to my hometown and educational point of view it was far better than any other near us and the college campus was also big I was loving this college and teaching wise our lectures are well experienced and they help us to gain more from them.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course Curriculum here is one of the best designed. First 2 years, students have all the PCBM courses(compulsory for PCM as well as PCB students) then from 3rd year they will choose a major subject and then they will proceed for that. How much priority is given to theory courses, the same is given to lab courses as well to get the practical knowledge which is not very well given in any other institutes. 5 Year of academic life with full of enjoyment. Also, the Faculty members are great enough to lead you towards a great Research life in future. Their references and guidance are very helpful.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements depend upon students. This is a research college. People come here to pursue a career in Research. They either come here for PhD or to capable enough to apply for PhD. Most of the students here pursue a PhD after their PG. Else there are companies which directly hire students from the campus.

College Events

4.5

Campus life here in IISERM is very great. You'll never get the same anywhere in India. From Coed Hostel to the Stress free environment, no ragging, no peer pressure nothing, only enjoyment. IISERM provides 20+ Club Activities with lots of cultural and other fest and events in the college. Our 3 days annual fest INSOMNIA is also there with great connection and well known audience and reach in Punjab. Participation there is from most of the North Colleges is recorded in past. And the Star Nights of the fest is evolving year by year as its getting famous with passing year.

Campus Life

3.5

Our campus was good and clean and neat the science labs were well equipped and our computer lab has many systems it was nice and our class were always neat and we have a library where we can get our study materials.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

One of the best hostel ones will get ever. For the first two year students will be given double rooms but from 3rd year, they will be provided with single rooms which have a balcony. Also, the hostel is coeds along with TV rooms and Study Rooms with air conditioner. Also, WiFi facilities are available and Water Cooler on every alternate floor. There are a total of 7 floors and hence there is a lift too. All that in just 2000Rs for 6 Months. The hostel has no timings restriction. You are free to roam on the campus for 24 hrs. Outside the campus, the timing is from 6 AM to 11:59 PM excluding exceptional cases. Also, there is no surveillance over students privacy hence there is no CCTVs camera.

The course curriculum was good, but some were bachelors level. We should have give more advanced curriculum. Main focus was on research so we cannot say curriculum should be main focus. The timings of exam were favoured by students, so no problem.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this we get brief information of computer science and more options of placement. Curriculum is based on all computer and to obvious reasons it relate to real-world as well as virtual. To my accord teachers must pay attention to practical work not to just completing syllabus and writing theories. The timing and difficulty level of exams are good. Again it's depend upon the subjects chosen.
