Course Curriculum Overview

The college is one of the top 15 colleges of the University of Delhi. You get a lot of opportunities and exposure as it is a part of one of the best universities in India. The college focusses on the all round development of their students with a very transparent system and a cooperative staff. The colleges boasts of one of the best dramatics societies in the whole University and the faculty provided by college is very good.

The placements offered by the college are not very good because of the weak alumni network and very few students end up getting placed while most of the other students either pursue masters or appear for off campus placement.

College Events

The college holds an annual fest Tide with approx 15000 students participating in the festival. You get a lot of opportunities and exposure as it is a part of one of the best universities in India. The college focusses on the all round development of their students with a very transparent system and a cooperative staff. The colleges boasts of one of the best dramatics societies in the whole University and the faculty provided by college is very good.

The college has a library which has two floors and all the books required by the curriculum as well as magazines, newspapers, computers etc so that students have access to every resources in an easy manner. The college gives importance to sports also and has a large cricket ground, table tennis tables, basket ball court as well as an indoor badminton court in the attrium. The college is one of the largest college in Delhi University and the infrastructure is well maintained. The equipments in the lab are regularly updated and are properly maintained.

Hostel Facilities

No hostels are available but you can easily find a pg in the nearby Satya Niketan Colony for affordable rates. The Pg facilities are safe and very easily connected to the nearby colleges. The average rental ranges from 6000-10000 depending on facilities offered and sharing of rooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is really relevant and comprehensive. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: ARSD

Only 2 colleges were there above ARSD in my preference list. Hansraj & SSCBS both for CS Hons. Rejection occured simply due to less marks scored than cutoff. You need to be 12th passed with >60% score. Give CUET exam and chose subjects studied in 12th. Score enough to clear cutoff. Admission is completely online. Only later is semester does physical verification happens once....Read More

ARSD UNFILTERED: FRIENDS, FUN, AND COLLEGE VIBES

I chose ARSD was because it is part of Delhi University, which consistently performs well in NIRF rankings, and ARSD itself is considered one of the better south campus colleges. Compared to some other colleges I applied to, ARSD had a more balanced mix of academics, crowd, and the fees are affordable compared to many other colleges. I did get confirmed admission in ARSD and a few off-campus colleges, but ARSD felt like a better choice overall in terms of crowd, academics, and exposure.
