Remarks
This college is known for its beautiful and greeny campus. It is ranked no: 2 in Kerala and gives students more freedom in their campus life than any other college I personally know about, and that is the sole reason I opted for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was up to date and on point. The college has an NBA accreditation with friendly faculties who are there for you day and night. The college also provided industrial experiences through internships and IVs. One of the faculties whom I think I should explicitly mention is Prof. Vipin Kumar whose knowledge in algorithms is deep rooted. He has helped many students understand concepts in depth in a short amount of time .
Internships Opportunities
EY GDS, Cyber security consultant, 30,000. The selection procedure was of 3 stages. First round was MCQ test. The second round was a descriptive test. The third was an in-person interview which itself had two rounds, technical and HR round.
Placement Experience
Tech giants like Amazon, Oracle Apps, Oracle FSS, Big Binary often visits the CPUs along with numerous other companies. The placement cell head is the only black mark of the entire process. They are always harsh towards students and often blacklist them without proper reasoning. But the alumni network is well intact and they are always there to give you referrals any time you need.
College Events
The campus holds a tech fest called Dyuthi every year which is a national level tech fest where thousands of students from all over India come to every year. Last year we had Nucleya come for the DJ. We also have other cultural fest called Bhoomika, drishya etc which other clubs in the college conduct.
Campus Life
The campus was of 75 acres. There was strong 100 Mbps WiFi all across the campus. The Central library consisted of a three stories building with tens of thousands of books apart from which each department had their own smaller libraries inside them. The labs were of top notch quality. The computers had 64GB RAM devoted for research purposes.
